TURN secret of longer life lies in the way of thinking of bees. Scientists at Arizona State University found that honey bees effectively reverse the aging brain when they are responsible for guiding the bees are much younger.
The findings suggest that bees like humans have brain cells. Then they can adjust their social lives to help the young bees while growing up.
"From this study we found a nest of bees that live in caring for the larvae and bees have babies mentally competent. But after the breastfeeding period, the bees flew to collect food and aging very fast," explained study leader Gro Amdam in the journal Experimental Gerontology.
Scientists have also found the bees resemble human aging process. Ie after two weeks of foraging bees wearing wings, body hair loss and loss of brain function. But once given the opportunity to treat bee babies larvae, they significantly enhance the ability to learn new things.
