The study, led by Dr. Tagg found that when kissing babies , mothers ' pass ' certain bacteria that help strengthen a child's immune system against fever and ear infections .

Not only that , the arms of the mother can also make their children recover from illness more quickly . These results were obtained after the researchers observations of 61 infants in the hospital Bliss , Montreal . Researchers observed the baby's heart rate , blood oxygen levels , as well as observing the baby's facial expression when a blood sample .

This study found that babies who hugged his mother when taking blood more quickly recover from the pain of needles . Infants whose mothers hugged when blood drawn immediately felt comfortable after three minutes . While babies are not embraced his mother still feel the pain in a longer time .
