From this study, researchers say that the choice of team sports can be the best choice of adolescents, becausev it not only makes the body healthy and fit, but also able to maintain weight.
DO exercise together with friends was not only fun, but it proved to be better able to maintain body weight in adolescents. Similarly, as mentioned in the journal Pediatrics released a study, as quoted by CNNHealth, Tuesday (31/7).
In the present study, the scientists conducted a survey to more than 1,700 students. Scientists asked the volunteers about how much they are active in team sports, as well as other sporting activities that they do.
Judging from the results of the study, teens who exercise as much as the team claimed three to four times a year have a tendency to be overweight just 27 percent. While those who perform physical activities as individuals have a tendency to gain weight even up to 39 percent.
The scientists believe that exercise is done in teams, especially those that require the exercise of competition, may reduce the tendency of adolescents to be overweight. The reason, of team sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and others require a full stamina as well as a sweat.
