Many people are not familiar with the herb called wormwood plant that is commonly used by the Chinese in the use of drugs. But recent research reveals that the compounds in this plant can kill up to 98 percent of breast cancer cells in less than 16 hours.
If used alone , this plant can reduce up to 28 percent of cancer cells . However, if used in conjunction with iron, wormwood plant can kill almost all cancer cells. Interestingly, cells that are not healthy at all influenced by the effects of this plant.
All properties are due to the availability of artemisinin compounds in wormwood plant . Previously, this compound is used in anti- malarial drug . But now proven that this plant is also effective to kill cancer , as reported by the Daily Health Post ( 02 / 01 ) .
This is not the only study that proves that powerful wormwood to cure cancer. But the new study note that the benefits of wormwood is very unusual , especially if combined with iron. Over the years the malaria parasite can not survive when exposed to artemisinin because levels of iron in it . It turns out that this also occurs in cancer cells.
Even so , since long known that wormwood extract not found and can not be recovered by cheap price . But researchers Henry Lai and Narendra Singh of the University of Washington plan to expand it using bioengineering technology .
